After 17 years of service to Simley High School, Assistant Principal Heidi Klukas took a position with another school this July. Assistant Administrator and Student Success Coach Cullen Berg was selected as Simley’s next assistant principal.
A graduate of Simley, Mr. Berg started his career at Inver Grove Heights Schools as a teacher. After teaching language arts and AVID at the middle and high school levels, he moved into his current position as student success coach. He provided direct support to students and families and fostered strong relationships between home and school. Throughout his time at Simley, his work has been crucial to creating a positive school culture and ensuring that students feel welcome.
Assistant Principal Klukas will move on to her new position this July. Over her 17 years of service at Simley, Ms. Klukas has been integral to lifting up student voices and transforming students into leaders. She will be greatly missed among students, staff, and the community, but the important work she has done to help all students find success will continue.

Después de 17 años de servicio en Simley High School, la subdirectora Heidi Klukas asumió un puesto en otra escuela en julio. El administrador asistente y entrenador de éxito estudiantil Cullen Berg fue seleccionado como el próximo subdirector de Simley.
Graduado de Simley, el Sr. Berg comenzó su carrera en Inver Grove Heights Schools como maestro.
