MOST IGH Middle School students say they
DON’T need alcohol to have fun.*
To spread the message that MOST IGHMS students are making positive decisions and to further reduce youth substance use, the Inver Grove Heights Spartan Prevention, Advocacy, and Resources Coalition (IGH SPARC) is partnering with Inver Grove Heights Parks and Recreation to host a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament! Students in grades 6-8 are invited to gather a team and compete in the tournament on February 10, starting at 10:00 AM in the VMCC National Guard Gymnasium. Register at
ighmn.gov/register by February 2. UPDATE: The team entry price is now only $5!

IGH SPARC’s goal is to reduce youth substance use in Inver Grove Heights. The coalition organizes free events to provide fun, positive alternatives for kids. The group also focuses on using data to correct misperceptions about youth substance use and, ultimately, reduce underage substance use. Inver Grove Heights parents, students, and community members and Inver Grove Heights Schools staff are invited to join IGH SPARC. Learn more about IGH SPARC and join the coalition at
