Title I Schoolwide

Hilltop Elementary has a schoolwide Title I Program. The schoolwide program’s primary goal is to ensure that all students, particularly those who show a need for an academic intervention, demonstrate proficient and advanced levels of achievement in State academic achievement standards. Any student at Hilltop Elementary School who shows a need for extra support on specific reading or math skills is given the opportunity to receive academic support during the regular school day.

One requirement for the program is that every student, teacher, and parent will be asked to sign a compact agreeing to work together toward academic success. Families will sign these compacts in the Fall of the school year.

Parents have the right to request information about a teacher's professional qualifications. If you are interested in obtaining an educational history or other qualifications, please contact Human Resources at 651-306-7823.

Hilltop Elementary School values parent involvement. Here are a few links to help you support your child's learning at home:

The Title I staff at Hilltop work directly with classroom teachers daily to best meet the needs of our students. Please feel free to email or call us if you have any questions or concerns.
