  • Seniors, do not forget to sign up for your Senior Olympics teams! Use the Qr code found outside Ms. Ney's room or around school.
  • The Student Center is closed today.
  • Attn: Credit Recovery Students-If you are currently enrolled in after school credit recovery, any credits  you are enrolled in MUST be completed by Friday, May 31st at 3:20pm. After that time, if your credit(s) is not completed, your course will be removed and you will need to restart it in summer school.
  • Seniors, just a reminder-- If you are missing more than 2 required credits you will be unable to participate in graduation.
  • The Simley Boys Golf team traveled to arguably the best and most challenging course in the State of Minnesota: White Bear Yacht Club. The Yacht Club is currently the only golf course in the state that is ranked in the top 100 courses in the country by Golf Digest. With lightning-fast greens, hills that our players have never seen, and a tournament director that set the tees at the tips (the longest possible yardage), it was the toughest test the Spartans will face this season. With sunny skies and light winds, it was golf at its purest. The conditions of the course were pristine and the Simley linksters battled from the first through the 18th hole. The results of the annual Mahtomedi Invitational saw Sophomore Charlie Martin as the team medalist with the strip (77 known on the PGA Tour for 77 Sunset Strip) which featured an unbelievable par on the tight par-5 16thhole, where Charlie launched his drive as long right as it was far off the tee. After adding a penalty stroke, Charlie simply striped his next drive, almost reached the green with his second shot, and proceeded to jar his chip for the unlikeliest of pars. Senior Justin Orn could not catch a break with the closely cut holes and lipped out time after time ? a great course takes no prisoners ? and still finished with an acceptable 80. Senior Carson Gustafson finished third for the Spartans and carded nine pars with only 29 putts, while Junior Elias Boone threw four birdies at the classic Donald Ross design, but forgot it was spring and let the dreaded snowman make an appearance at hole #1. All in all, it was a good day as it is a privilege to play White Bear Yacht Club, especially on such a beautiful day.
  • The Simley and Middle School Art Show is Tuesday evening from 5:30-8:30 in the Spartan Center.
  • Senior Decision Day will be held on WEDNESDAY, MAY 22ND as a Senior Sunrise! Meet on the football field wearing gear that represents your plans for the fall. 7:30 - 9:20 AM. Breakfast will be served, decisions will be celebrated, games will be played, and more! Save the date and we will see you there!
  • Seniors: the online payment option for the grad fee is now CLOSED. If you still need to pay your grad fee, please do so with Ms. Sievert in the main office with either a check or cash (exact change please).
  • Girls Basketball Skill Workouts are going on now. Practices are open to Grades 6th - 12th Girls from 6pm to 7pm in the main gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month of April and May.
