  •  Seniors: the online payment option for the grad fee is now CLOSED. If you still need to pay your grad fee, please do so with Ms. Sievert in the main office with either a check or cash (exact change please).
  • Girls Basketball Skill Workouts are going on now. Practices are open to Grades 6th - 12th Girls from 6pm to 7pm in the main gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the month of April and May.

  • Golf Announcement:The Simley Boys Golf team continued its Metro East campaign on Tuesday, May 7th, at Oak Glen Golf Club. Although the top two spots in the conference remain out of reach to the rest of the conference, the Spartans are in the middle of a fierce competition for 3rd place. Every point is precious as the Metro East is only playing five full conference events this season and the Simley linksters are the grinders you need to rise to the challenge. Adversity is a part of every round of golf you play and all you need to do is watch the Spartans play a few holes to recognize they have a different look than the rest of the teams. Most of the time you cannot tell if any given Simley golfer just made a birdie or a double bogey. Golf is a marathon sport requiring an even keel approach ? the highs cannot be too high, and the lows must be ignored, and the next shot is all that matters. You don?t have to be a golfer to know that the spring of 2024 is one of the windiest on record. You certainly have to be skilled to shoot low scores in golf, but it is just as important to persevere in tough conditions.
Hill-Murray jumped out of the middle of the pack with a surprising first-place finish at Oak Glen, but the Spartans are still on track for a strong finish in the conference and look to run down the Pioneers in the coming weeks. Keeping Hill-Murray within striking distance required yet another gutsy performance. Senior Justin Orn was in the midst of a ho-hum start to his round as early putts just would not drop. With his Triple Trac Calloway afraid of the dark, Justin threw a 100-yard wedge ten feet past and ten feet right of the 5th hole only to watch a little pro level spin pull the ball back and left to jar it for an eagle to jump start his round. Justin?s 73 was good enough for a fourth-place finish keeping him in the hunt for player of the year honors. Sophomore Charlie Martin was one-under early in his round with two birdies and fought though a late ride on the bogy train to finish with a solid 78 to also pick up valuable all-conference points. Junior Elias Boone refused to let his round get away and birdied 18 to hold off the hard charging Hasting Raiders, while Junior Myles Feldman spat in the face of an opening triple bogey to ensure the Spartans continued their proclivity to finish every round strong. Seniors Jake Stanton and Bubba Gustafson rounded out the scoring for the Spartans.
  • At the True Team Track and Field Meet the boys team finished 3rd winning four different events.
