  • The Simley Softball team defeated conference and section rivals, South Saint Paul 15-0 in 4 innings yesterday. Again, the team had outstanding offense. Charli Raymond led the team going 4 for 4 with 2 singles, a double, and a triple, Kayla Buck, Amelia Campbell, and Taylor Gallahue all had 2 hits each. Bailey Frank, Emme Webinger, Emma Seelhammer, Rowan Smith, and Alyssa Downhour all gathered hits and walks as well. The team also had solid defense which helped pitcher Taylor Gallahue throw a no hitter, also striking out 4 batters in 4 innings. Tonight the JV and Varsity travel to Pine Island and play at 6:30 pm under the lights. Good luck girls!
