  • Thanks to everyone who came out for Jungle Volleyball last night, we had a blast! Don't forget to donate $1 or write a letter of love and give it to your 7th hour teacher to get your ticket into the dodgeball tournament on Friday. Sign-up with 8-10 friends for a dodgeball team in the Cafeteria at Lunch.  Tomorrow's dress-up day is Duo Day, come to school in your matching outfits!
  • NHS will be sponsoring a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Friday, April 5. Registration during lunch will begin Tuesday, March 5 and go through the first week of April. You can also sign up using the QR code found on the posters that will be going up around school. Students 17 and older or 16 with parent permission are welcome to register. The Red Cross is experiencing a blood shortage right now, so please consider donating.   
  • Seniors- don't forget there will be a FAFSA help drop-in event this Thursday, March 21st in the Spartan Center. Families can stop in any time between 4:30 and 6:30 to ask questions and get help completing the FAFSA or the MN Dream Act applications for college financial aid. RSVP at https://bit.ly/FAFSARSVP24 and come get it done!
  • Are you a senior interested in going into the teaching profession? If so, you should apply for the REACH TO TEACH scholarship. This is a full-tuition scholarship with additional stipends for student teaching and materials. Simley has up to two scholarships to offer just to our seniors, so don't miss out! Application is open now- see Ms. Kimble for more information.
  • The Asian American Alliance will be meeting Wednesday March 20th after school from 3:30-4pm in Ms. Austin's classroom WA 106.  Join us as we start planning for the AAPI potluck.  All are welcome. 
  • Attention prom committee members, we will meet this Thursday after school in Ms. Martin's room, EA 211. If you are interested in joining the prom committee and were unable to attend the first meeting, please join us on Thursday.
  • Boys Basketball LifeTouch Order Forms & Pictures are in the Activities Office, please stop and pick them up.
  • Chest Club is starting back up today after school and will be held every Tuesday for the remainder of the school year.
  • All Tennis Players, See Coach Johnston to get your Uniforms Ordered!!! Awesome to see so many students out.  Also, there will be an important Parents meeting on Thursday, March 21st at 7PM in the Spartan center in case you missed the first one.  Simley Tennis is on the rise.
  • Buy your yearbook online before March 31st.  Go to www.buytheyearbook.com  and use the school code: 716591.  Yearbooks will be distributed the last week of school.  We will have some available for purchase on distribution day, but the number will be extremely limited, so buy now to ensure you get a Yearbook.

    Marching Band Rehearsal/Parade Schedule:
    There are times when students miss parades and that is okay. We work with many schedules. Most of our marching band members are also in other summer and fall activities with ISD199!

    Kansas City Trip Update:
    Despite a smaller group, I would still like to go ahead and make this trip possible. If you forgot to indicate your student could attend, please do so now on the link below. I'm hoping to have a price point and draft itinerary out at the beginning of March. I will not be able to take all chaperones that indicated they would like to attend. When more information comes out, I will indicate who was selected.

  • LISTEN UP CLASS OF 2024!  The Simley High School All Night Party is BACK!
    When: After graduation on June 6th, 2024 from 10:30 PM - 4:30 AM at Simley High School.
    Who:  It is for every student in the class of 2024!
    Price:  $60: price includes food, games, casino, hypnotist, and prizes to be given away at the end of the night (TVs, gift cards, and more).  Get your tickets now!  Prices go up to $75 after May 1st.

  • The All Night Party is having a fundraiser at Inver Grove Brewery on Tuesday, April 16 from 3-9 pm. They will donate 10% of all dine-in and take-out orders during that time (no flier needed). See you there!
