  • Release Cards are ready for pick-up. Stop in the main office between classes to pick them up. Hybrid cards will be given to you by your teacher NEXT week.
  • NHS will be sponsoring a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Friday, April 5. Registration during lunch will begin Tuesday, March 5 and go through the first week of April. You can also sign up using the QR code found on the posters that will be going up around school. Students 17 and older or 16 with parent permission are welcome to register. The Red Cross is experiencing a blood shortage right now, so please consider donating.   
  • Seniors, do you still need to complete the FAFSA or MN Dream Act Application? Have questions or need help? There will be a FAFSA Drop-In help session next Thursday, March 21st from 4:30 - 6:30 PM. It will be held in the Spartan Center and families are welcome to stop-in any time with any and all questions. Get this important application completed with free, professional help!

  • Jungle Volleyball is taking place Monday, the 18th in the Main Gym from 6-8pm. Sign up in teams of 6-8 outside Ms. Ney's Room, entry fee is $5. Next week is Charity Week and dress-up days are as follows: 

    Monday: Groutfit(gray colored outfit) 

    Tuesday: Jersey Day 

    Wednesday: Duo - Day (duos is coordinating like Mario and Luigi) 

    Thursday: Senior Day (Seniors dress as senior citizens, everyone else dress as babies)

    Friday: Tropical (floral and spring/summer clothing)

  • Boys Basketball LifeTouch Order Forms & Pictures are in the Activities Office, please stop and pick them up.
  • Registration for the Simley Shooting sports team will open on February 1st. It is open to all students 7th-12th grade. New athletes are welcome to the team. Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays are offered on Mondays and Saturdays, the season is from late March through May. Please email [email protected] for more information.
  • Tennis Registration is OPEN. Please register online in Infinite Campus (Parent Side) at the school store or see Coach Johnston. Captains practice is going on daily, after school at the Tennis courts. Join us! Season begins the 25th of March.
  • Buy your yearbook online before March 31st.  Go to www.buytheyearbook.com  and use the school code: 716591.  Yearbooks will be distributed the last week of school.  We will have some available for purchase on distribution day, but the number will be extremely limited, so buy now to ensure you get a Yearbook.

    YES! marching band is possible even with summer activities and a fall activity!
    Marching Band Rehearsal/Parade Schedule:
    There are times when students miss parades and that is okay. We work with many schedules. Most of our marching band members are also in other summer and fall activities with ISD199!

    Kansas City Trip Update:
    Despite a smaller group, I would still like to go ahead and make this trip possible. If you forgot to indicate your student could attend, please do so now on the link below. I'm hoping to have a price point and draft itinerary out at the beginning of March. I will not be able to take all chaperones that indicated they would like to attend. When more information comes out, I will indicate who was selected.

    The All-Night Party is having a Class of 2024 Senior Yard Sign Fundraiser:

  • LISTEN UP CLASS OF 2024!  The Simley High School All Night Party is BACK!
    When: After graduation on June 6th, 2024 from 10:30 PM - 4:30 AM at Simley High School.
    Who:  It is for every student in the class of 2024!
    Price:  $60: price includes food, games, casino, hypnotist, and prizes to be given away at the end of the night (TVs, gift cards, and more).  Get your tickets now!  Prices go up to $75 after May 1st.

  • The All Night Party is having a fundraiser at Inver Grove Brewery on Tuesday, April 16 from 3-9 pm. They will donate 10% of all dine-in and take-out orders during that time (no flier needed). See you there!
