  • If students are interested in joining the Tech Crew for the musical, please come to the first Tech meeting today after school in the auditorium.  Tech is open to grades 7-12. 
  • The gymnastics team took the Section 4A runner-up trophy home on Saturday night with a score of 135.925. While the Breck team advanced to state as a team, the Spartans had individuals with outstanding performances.

    Kyra Foster took 9th on the vault and 7th on the floor.

    Ashley Lynner took 9th in the all-around, 8th on the beam, 5th on the floor, and 4th on the vault.  Ashley will represent the vault at State.

    Emerson Hocking took 10th on the floor, 6th in the All-around, 5th on the beam, and was the Section 4A champion on vault.  Emerson will represent on both the vault and beam at State. 

    Lucy Pentilla took 10th on the floor, 3rd in the all-around and on vault, and she was the Section 4A bars champion. Lucy will represent on vault, bars, beam, floor, and all-around at the State. 

    Individual qualifiers will compete on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. We hope to see you there! 

  • The Asian American Alliance will be meeting Wednesday 2/21 after school 3:30-4pm in Ms. Austin's classroom WA 106.  Join us and try some Asian snacks as we plan for our next event.  All are welcome.

  • Student Center is Closed Today.

  • If you haven't heard, the IGH B.E.S.T. Foundation Scholarship application is now OPEN for seniors! There are over 100 scholarships available but only one application to complete to be considered. Scholarships are available for any senior planning to attend any type of college in the fall and they are ONLY for Simley seniors. More information and application can be found at www.ighbestfoundation.com. Deadline is March 4th, so apply today!  
  • Seniors: Reminder that you can pay your grad fee via Infinite Campus (Parent Account). Availability for online payment is open from now until the end of February.
  • Simley Softball is having a parent/player meeting for the 2024 softball season on Sunday, February 25th @ 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Veterans Memorial Community Center, room 3. This is open to all players 7th through 12th grade. If you know any players who may want to join, please let them know about this meeting so they can learn more.
  • Registration for the Simley Shooting sports team will open on February 1st. It is open to all students 7th-12th grade. New athletes are welcome to the team. Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays are offered on Mondays and Saturdays, the season is from late March through May. Please email [email protected] for more information.

    The Simley High School All Night Party is BACK!!!

    When: After graduation on June 6th, 2024 from 10:30 pm-4:00 am at Simley High School. 

    Who: it is for EVERYONE in the class of 2024!

    Price: $60: price includes Food, Games, Casino, Hypnotist, and prizes to be given away at the end of the night (TVs, gift cards, and more!)

    Join the 2023 Class B Grand Champion Simley Marching Band this summer!

    YES! marching band is possible even with summer activities and a fall activity!
    Marching Band Rehearsal/Parade Schedule:
    There are times when students miss parades and that is okay. We work with many schedules. Most of our marching band members are also in other summer and fall activities with ISD199!

    Kansas City Trip Update:
    Despite a smaller group, I would still like to go ahead and make this trip possible. If you forgot to indicate your student could attend, please do so now on the link below. I'm hoping to have a price point and draft itinerary out at the beginning of March. I will not be able to take all chaperones that indicated they would like to attend. When more information comes out, I will indicate who was selected.
