  • The gymnastics team won the Conference Championship meet with 136.85 points! 

    Final scores of the conference meet were:  Simley 136.85, Mahtomedi 135.075, Two Rivers 133.275, Hastings 124.45, No. St. Paul 118.85, Tartan 111.65, and So. St. Paul 103.05.

    Outstanding individual finishers were:

    Lucy Penttila - 4th on floor, 3rd on vault with a 9.125, 3rd on beam with a 9.1, and 1st on bars with a 9.3. Lucy was the Metro East All-Around champion with a 36.525!

    Emerson Hocking -8th on bars, 7th on beam, 4th in the All-Around, 3rd on floor with a 9.25, and 2nd on vault with a 9.175.

    Ashley Lynner -6th on beam, 5th in the All-Around, 3rd on vault and 2nd on floor with a 9.45.

    Kyra Foster- 8th on floor and 7th on vault.

    Additionally, Aubrey Orenstein, Eva Mattson, and Isla Aamot are critical to the success of this strong team. We are extremely proud of our gymnasts and look forward to the Section meet this Saturday at 5 pm at Roseville High School.  This meet will qualify teams and individuals for the state tournament.

  • Congratulations to the Girls Hockey Team for advancing to the Sections Finals on Thursday, 2/15 5pm at the Owatonna Four Seasons Center against Dodge County.

  • If you haven't heard, the IGH B.E.S.T. Foundation Scholarship application is now OPEN for seniors! There are over 100 scholarships available but only one application to complete to be considered. Scholarships are available for any senior planning to attend any type of college in the fall and they are ONLY for Simley seniors. More information and application can be found at www.ighbestfoundation.com. Deadline is March 4th, so apply today!  
  • This week the student council will be taking donations at all lunches for your chance to pie-a-teacher at the Winter Week Pepfest next Friday! Each dollar you donate enters you in the drawing. Remember to bring your cash to school to "Pie" your teachers!

    Tuesday: Celebrity Day

    Wednesday: Wednesday Adams vs. Means Girls (wear black or pink)

    Thursday: Adam Sandler

    Friday: Country vs. Country Club  

  • Seniors: Reminder that you can pay your grad fee via Infinite Campus (Parent Account). Availability for online payment is open from now until the end of February.
  • Simley's Gender Sexuality Alliance will be putting on a Valentine's day event after school today from 3:30-4:30 in the Student Center. Come for games, crafts, and treats. Hope to see you there.
  • The Asian American Alliance is hosting a Lunar New Year Celebration on Tuesday February 13th after school in the Student Center from 3:30-5pm.  Join us and learn about the year of the Dragon. Games, raffle with prizes and light refreshments will be provided. 
  • Auditions for the musical "Once Upon a Mattress" will be held Monday and Tuesday this week after school in the Auditorium.  Auditions are open for grades 8-12.   Scan the QR code on the audition posters for more information or just show up!  For students interested in Tech, please go to the SImley Theatre website and fill out the audition for.  Theatre Tech is open to students from grade 7-12.  If you have any questions see Mr. Skar.
  • Registration is open for Boys Tennis, there will be an informational meeting on Feb 13th at 3:30 in the Spartan Center.  Captains Practices begin 2/20.  See Coach Johnston or any other Captain for more information.
  • Attention all Track & Field Athletes and Parents, there is an informational parent and athlete meeting this Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Spartan Center to meet the coaches and learn about the program. Come find out what Simley Track & Field is all about!
  • Simley Softball is having a parent/player meeting for the 2024 softball season on Sunday, February 25th @ 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Veterans Memorial Community Center, room 3. This is open to all players 7th through 12th grade. If you know any players who may want to join, please let them know about this meeting so they can learn more.
  • Registration for the Simley Shooting sports team will open on February 1st. It is open to all students 7th-12th grade. New athletes are welcome to the team. Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays are offered on Mondays and Saturdays, the season is from late March through May. Please email [email protected] for more information.

    The Simley High School All Night Party is BACK!!!

    When: After graduation on June 6th, 2024 from 10:30 pm-4:00 am at Simley High School. 

    Who: it is for EVERYONE in the class of 2024!

    Price: $60: price includes Food, Games, Casino, Hypnotist, and prizes to be given away at the end of the night (TVs, gift cards, and more!)

    For information on a scholarship for a ticket contact your counselor.
