  • Congratulations to the Boys Swimming & Diving team for their 88-61 win against Hill Murray last night. Individual winners were: Vincent Evangelista won the 200 free & the 100 Free; Jaxon Wanek won the 200 IM & the 100 Backstroke; Hayden Geffre won the 50 Free; Carter Kline won the 1-meter diving; Jared Padaong won the 100 Butterfly; Christian Jack won the 500 Free; Simley won all 3 relays with the team of Shilah Smolinski; Carter Kline, Jaxon Wanek, and Hayden Geffre winning the 200 Medley Relay; the team of Vincent Evangelista, Peder Early, Hayden Geffre, and Collin Momper winning the 200 Free Relay; and the team of Carter Kline, Angel Esparza, Brian Madrid Pina, and Vincent Evangelista winning the 400 Free Relay. The Spartans next meet is this Saturday when they host the True Team 1A Sections Section  tournament at the Grove. Diving starts at 11:00 a.m. and swimming starts at 2:00 p.m.

  •  Captain's practice for baseball will run on Sundays from 10am-noon in AB gym. If you have any questions or are considering playing baseball this year, please stop by Mr Heiderscheit's office in room WA224

  • There are only 3 weeks left to apply for a Wallin 4-year scholarship! This scholarship is only for seniors at one of the 70 partner high schools in Minnesota and Simley is now one of those schools! To be eligible you must have a 3.0 GPA, financial need, and attend a public or private 4-year college in the region or a HBCU. This is a proven college completion program so not only will you receive $16,000 over 4-years but also professional advising and additional career opportunities. Last year, over 325 students, around 40% of those who applied, received a scholarship, so don't miss out on this great opportunity. Deadline is February 1st.   • Calling on  ALL Parents...we are having our ALL NIGHT PARTY kick-off meeting to start planning for the Class of 2024!  This is open to ALL High School Parents. Underclassman parents are encouraged to get involved so senior parents can enjoy their final days with their graduates.

    The Simley High School All Night Party is BACK!!!

    When: After graduation on June 6th, 2024 from 10:30 pm-4:00 am at Simley High School. 

    Who: it is for EVERYONE in the class of 2024!

    Price: $60: price includes Food, Games, Casino, Hypnotist, and prizes to be given away at the end of the night (TVs, gift cards, and more!)

  • Save the Date! Tuesday, January 16th is the next dine out fundraiser opportunity for Spartan Robotics. Stop by Inver Grove Brewing Company to enjoy some delicious food while helping the robotics team at Simley High School! Dine in or take-out options are both included to help meet their fundraising goal. This event is hosted by the Spartan Robotics Booster Club. A portion of sales will be donated to the Spartan Robotics team.
  • Enjoy a night out!  30% from your bill purchased between 11am to 9pm will help support the Simley Boys Swim & Dive Booster Club.  This includes dine in as well as takeout orders.  January 17th at Jersey?s Bar & Grill.
  • Post-referendum Survey for Voters: If you voted on ISD 199's 199 Future Ready Referendum questions on November 7, 2023, we want to hear from you! Click here for our anonymous Post-referendum Survey, January 8-21. 
  • International club will be hosting a cultural fashion show on February 1st from 4:00-6:00 pm after school. You can share your culture with our school through dancing, singing, or walking the runway. There will be QR codes on posters around the school to fill out a Google form. It must be filled out. The dress rehearsal will be on January 30th from 3:30-5:00 pm and is required. Volunteers are also very much appreciated. There will be a $3 raffle for a chance to win a yearbook and a prom ticket.   • Registration for the Simley Shooting sports team will open on February 1st. It is open to all students 7th-12th grade. New athletes are welcome to the team. Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays are offered on Mondays and Saturdays, the season is from late March through May. Please email [email protected] for more information.
