  • Congratulations to the Boys? Swimming & Diving team for their 95-51 victory against South St Paul last night. Individual wins were: Kadyn Carriere won the 200 free; Shilah Smolinski won the 200 Individual Medley & the 100 butterfly; Cater Kline won the 1-meter diving; Hayden Geffre won the 100 free & the 100 backstroke; and Vincent Evangelista won the 500 free; the team of Hayden Geffre, Christian Jack, Carter Kline & Vincent Evangelista won the 200 Medley Relay; the team of Shilah Smolinski, Kadyn Carriere, Christian Jack, and Carter Kline won the 200 Free Relay; and the team of Shilah Smolinski, Collin Momper, Andrew Ernst, & Vincent Evangelista won the 400 Free Relay. The Spartans next meet is tomorrow at Maroon & Gold 10:45 a.m. at the University of Minnesota.
  • International club will be hosting a cultural fashion show on February 1st from 4:00-6:00 pm after school. You can share your culture with our school through dancing, singing, or walking the runway. There will be QR codes on posters around the school to fill out a Google form. It must be filled out. The dress rehearsal will be on January 30th from 3:30-5:00 pm and is required. Volunteers are also very much appreciated. There will be a $3 raffle for a chance to win a yearbook and a prom ticket.   • Are you considering a career in the sciences or want to participate in creating a healthier environment in Inver Grove Heights? Join the Environmental Club to reduce pollution and improve education about our environmental impacts.  Locate the posters in the high school and scan the QR code for more information. The first meeting will be Friday, Jan. 5th in Skurski's room - WA 116 after school.
  • How does free indoor tennis and pizza sound at an Elite Twin Cities Tennis Club? Tonight, there will be a free tennis event at Fred Wells Tennis Center from 6:00-8:30 pm.  It's casual, fun and best of all free! See Mr Johnston for registration details.
  • Registration for the Simley Shooting sports team will open on February 1st. It is open to all students 7th-12th grade. New athletes are welcome to the team. Trap, Skeet and Sporting Clays are offered on Mondays and Saturdays, the season is from late March through May. Please email [email protected] for more information.

  • Seniors, last week you were emailed the Senior Hall of Fame for the Yearbook. We want ALL seniors to vote. Please cast your vote by February 1st, which is also the due date of Senior Photos. Let Ms. Hensch know if you have any questions.
