  • Simley high school in partnership with Inver Grove Heights Fire Department will be offering the first course needed to become a FireFighter, Fire 1.  The course will begin in early January.  There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, December 13, at 11:15, in the Spartan Center.  Please contact Mr. Sakala in the main office if you are interested.  Finally, If you decide to take this course, we will make it work with your current schedule.
  • All students - please remember to take home all items from your locker at the end of the day. Lockers are not accessible after 4pm. This includes students that have activities after school.
  • Inver Hills Community College will be here this Tuesday (12/12) at 9:25 AM. Get signed up with Ms. Kimble.
  • Are you considering a career in the sciences or want to participate in creating a healthier environment in Inver Grove Heights? Join the Environmental Club to reduce pollution and improve education about our environmental impacts.  Locate the posters in the high school and scan the QR code for more information. 
  • The Asian Alliance will be meeting on Thursday after school from 3:30-4pm in Ms. Austin's classroom WA 106.  All are welcome. 

  • Want to work on your communication or acting skills? Join speech! The Information Meeting will be in MS2005 Tuesday December 12th after school! Open to grades 7th-12th.

  • Spartans, are you looking to try something new in Trimester 2? Consider ROBOTICS! No prior experience necessary, all are welcome. Looks great on college applications. Season runs January-early April meeting daily after school. Come to a team informational meeting on Wednesday, December 13th in EA-109. Question, see Ms. Dillon in middle school.

  • Seniors, last week you were emailed the Senior Hall of Fame for the Yearbook. We want ALL seniors to vote. Please cast your vote by February 1st, which is also the due date of Senior Photos. Let Ms. Hensch know if you have any questions.
