- You only have two more days to bring items to your first hour class for the Fall Food Drive. Remember, the class with the most items will win McDonald's breakfast. We are aiming for a schoolwide goal of 2,000 items.
- Attention German Club members! There will be a meeting this Friday at 8:10am in Mr. Mitchell's room. New members are still welcome.
- Exciting news for seniors! Simley is now a partner school with Wallin Education Partners, a Minnesota based scholarship and college completion program. Wallin has both a 4-year and 2-year scholarship program and the 4-year application is now open. The 4-year program provides students with up to $16,000 over 4-years, comprehensive support with a professional advisor, and access to career opportunities. To be eligible you must be a graduating senior, have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA, have demonstrated financial need, and plan to attend a 4-year college or university in MN, WI, ND, SD, IA, or any HBCU in the nation. Learn more by seeing Ms. Kimble or attending the information session this Friday during 4th hour in the Student Center.
- Attention all writers and junior and senior leaders, if you are interested in becoming a peer writing coach, applications are due this Friday, November 17. The QR code for the application is located on your English teacher's classroom door. If you were a tutor last year, Ms. Ney has a separate sign-up in her classroom. As a peer writing coach, you will tutor peers in the writing process. It’s a great resume builder and experience for the future. If you have any questions, contact Ms. Ney.
- The Asian American Alliance is having a 2023 kick off event Today from 3:30-4:30pm in the Spartan Center. All attendees will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a prize! Please RSVP using the QR code on flyers posted around the school and in front of Ms. Austin's classroom WA-106. All are welcome.
- Grandma Club is hosting their Bingo Night this Thursday 3:30-4:30 in Miss Tischmak's room (WA202). Come stop by and play multiple rounds of bingo and win prizes!

Bowling: Congratulations to Simley JV Red for qualifying for the State Tournament. The team consists of Jacob Kranz, Kaden Darrow, Keonna McFarland, Liban Van Leer, Lily Murphy, and Nadia Van Leer. The JV State Tournament will be held Sunday, November 19th. Good luck to the team.

Bowling: Congratulations to Simley Varsity for finishing in 2nd place at the Conference Tournament. Also, congratulations for earning a spot in the Varsity State Tournament. The team consists of Brooke O'Brien, Carter Vitch, David Olson, Shane Gorr, Skyler DeWall, and Zach Howe. The State Tournament will be held Saturday, November 18th. Good luck to the team!

- The goal for our H20 for Life student service learning project is $500. Please donate $1 for a water drop to Ms. Parker's Room W215. This will be added to our display for The Navajo Nation to have clean water in 230 more homes this year.
- Football, Swim, Volleyball and Girls Soccer Lifetouch Picture & Order Forms are in the Activities Office, please stop in today and pick them up!
- Seniors: Your senior photo, baby photo, and senior quote are due December 1st. An email with more information was sent to you this morning. Please check your school email or talk to Ms. Hensch for more info.
