  • Remember, our Fall Food Drive has been extended into this week, so you still have an opportunity to win McDonad's breakfast or see Mr. Drugg with a handlebar mustache. Please bring non-perishable food items, snacks like granola bars, or toiletries like diapers, shampoo, or conditioner. One more week, so let's go Spartans!
  • Last day to sign up for the ASVAB is tomorrow! The ASVAB is open to grades 10-12 and is the required exam to enlist in any branch of the military but also used as a career exploration tool. The test will be at Simley this Thursday. See Ms. Kimble to sign up by tomorrow!
  • Attention all writers and junior and senior leaders, if you are interested in becoming a peer writing coach, applications are due this Friday, November 17. The QR code for the application is located on your English teacher's classroom door. If you were a tutor last year, Ms. Ney has a separate sign-up in her classroom. As a peer writing coach, you will tutor peers in the writing process. It’s a great resume builder and experience for the future. If you have any questions, contact Ms. Ney.
  • The Asian American Alliance is having a 2023 kick off event on Wednesday November 15th from 3:30-4:30pm in the Spartan Center.  All attendees will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a prize!  Please RSVP using the QR code on flyers posted around the school and in front of Ms. Austin's classroom WA-106.  All are welcome. 

  • The Spartans were a Small, but Mighty Group at Sections Swim Finals on Friday at John Glenn Middle School.  Simley had swimmers in all events in Finals with the exception of one event.  Simley placed 7th overall in an extremely tough Section! CONGRATULATIONS to Madeline Ngo in qualifying for State!  Madeline achieved the State Qualifying Time in the 100 Backstroke and will be representing Simley at the State Meet on Friday at the U of MN. TOP SWIMS:

  • Shauna (Horsch) Osterberg received the Sections 4A Assistant Coach of the Year Award - CONGRATS to Coach Shauna!

  • Simley High school students and faculty want to be part of finding creative solutions to global issues. We are taking action by thinking globally and acting locally. We have learned about water and global perspectives. As a student learning service project to support in 2023, we plan to bring 230 new Home Water Systems to families, each of which will need to be filled on a routine basis for the Navajo Nation. Please consider donating $1 to Ms. Parker in Room W215.
  • Football, Swim, Volleyball and Girls Soccer Lifetouch Picture & Order Forms are in the Activities Office, please stop in today and pick them up!
  • Students, who have a parking permit, are only allowed to park in the student lot, on the west side of the building near the baseball fields. No students are permitted to park in the staff lot, located in the front of the building.   
  • The Simley Nordic Ski Team Parent Meeting will be held 11/14 at 5:30 in the Flex Center
  • Seniors: Your senior photo, baby photo, and senior quote are due December 1st. An email with more information was sent to you this morning. Please check your school email or talk to Ms. Hensch for more info.
