The 6th Grade Party is tonight from 6-8 pm. Parents and Guardians- please make arrangements to have your 6th grader picked up at IGHMS no later than 8 PM

Students for Change is looking for members! All grades are welcome to apply. SFC is looking for: students who are problem solvers, students who are listeners, who want to learn to lead, and who want to be part of a team that works together to help the school and community. Applications are now being accepted. Ask your teachers to show you the video in advisory or look for posters around the school, and scan the QR code with your iPad. The application will close on November 17th.
¡Estudiantes por el Cambio está buscando miembros! Todos los grados son bienvenidos a postularse. SFC está buscando: estudiantes que solucionen problemas, estudiantes que escuchen, que quieran aprender a liderar y que quieran ser parte de un equipo que trabaje en conjunto para ayudar a la escuela y a la comunidad. Our first Choir Concert will be on Monday, November 13th at 6pm in the Simley High School Performing Arts Center.
-Students should be dressed in all solid black clothing, as professional as they can look. -Students can wear whatever shoes they choose. (no hats or hoods)
-Students should be in their assigned seat by 5:50pm
-This concert is graded and required for all students. Sporting events, work, and lack of transportation are not considered excused absences.
We have been hard at work and are excited to share our music with you!
Students who are not in Choir but would like to watch need to be with an adult.
Nuestro primer concierto de coro será el lunes 13 de noviembre a las 6pm en el Simley High School Performing Arts Center.

Like to swim? The Boys’ Swimming & Diving (6th-12th) starts Monday, Nov. 27th. No one “sits on the bench” during meets and there are no cuts from the team. Parents and Guardians- Attendance Notification News!
We now have an ATTENDANCE EMAIL. Parents/Guardians, you can now use email to notify IGHMS about student absences.
Please email us at [email protected]. Please make sure to add your students name, grade, and the reason for the absence. These emails can only come from the legal parent/guardians listed in Campus.
If preferred, parents and guardians can still call the attendance line at 651-306-7878.

Dear Parents & Families of School District 199 Students in Grades K-8,
All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door.
