  • College Visits this week: North Dakota State University will be here today at 11:15 AM. Contact Ms. Kimble to sign-up for the visit.

  • AP students- don't forget to register for your AP exams! Remember you must join your class on MyAP AND register for the exam through the school store on Infinite Campus. Deadline to register is this Friday 
  • Attention Spanish Club members, we will meet on Friday in Mrs. Valencia's room at 8:00am.  Remember to bring your donut money. 
  • Tomorrow is our last day to collect donations for our Fall Food Drive. Remember, the winning first hour class will receive McDonald’s breakfast on Monday, November 12th, so don’t forget to bring non-perishable food items, snacks like granola bars, or toiletries like diapers, shampoo, or conditioner. If we reach a schoolwide goal of 2000 items, Mr. Drugg has also agreed to shave a handlebar mustache, so let's get those items in tomorrow!
  • Attention all writers and junior and senior leaders, if you are interested in becoming a peer writing coach, applications are due on Friday, November 17. The QR code for the application is located on Ms. Ney’s classroom door. If you were a tutor last year, Ms. Ney has a separate sign-up. As a peer writing coach, you will tutor peers in the writing process. It’s a great resume builder and experience for the future. If you have any questions, contact Ms. Ney.

  • The pool was rocking and loud at last night's Sections Swimming Prelims!  The Spartans swam out of their minds and achieved a RECORD 24 Personal Best Times and 7 Seasonal Best Times!!!  The Girls Swim & Dive Team were off to impressive and FAST start to Sections!  

    Swimmers advancing to Sections Finals on Friday are:

    Madeline Ngo --- 200 IM and 100 Backstroke

    Hailey Suchy --- 50 Freestyle & 100 Freestyle

    Tiffany Nguyen --- 100 Freestyle

    Lauren Oswald --- 200 Freestyle & 500 Freestyle

    Mari Early --- 500 Freestyle

    Riley Scott --- 100 Breaststroke

    200 Medley Relay --- Madeline Ngo, Riley Scott, Tiffany Nguyen & Hailey Suchy

    200 Free Relay --- Greta Ukestad, Riley Scott, Ciara Studeman-Vadnais, & Lauren Oswald

    400 Free Relay --- Hailey Suchy, Lauren Oswald, Madeline Ngo & Tiffany Nguyen

  •  Tonight Divers Greta Ukestad and Ciara Studeman-Vadnais will represent Simley at Diving Sections at 6:00pm at John Glenn Middle School.

  • Friday is State Qualifying for Simley Swimmers at Sections Finals at 6:00pm at Two Rivers.
  • Football, Swim, Volleyball and Girls Soccer Lifetouch Picture & Order Forms are in the Activities Office, please stop in today and pick them up!
  • Simley girls basketball captains practice starts this week in the main gym 10/30 - 11/2 and 11/6 - 11/9 at 3:45.  If you plan to try out please make sure you have your registration completed by 11/6.
  • Students, who have a parking permit, are only allowed to park in the student lot, on the west side of the building near the baseball fields. No students are permitted to park in the staff lot, located in the front of the building.   
  • The Simley Nordic Ski Team is a great way to spend the winter months getting outside, improving fitness and being with friends.  Nordic (cross country) skiing is open to all students grades 7-12.  No experience needed. Workouts are individualized so every skier can feel good about practices and meets.  Registration is now open.  Please email Coach Heath Anderson [email protected] with any questions. 
  • Seniors: Your senior photo, baby photo, and senior quote are due December 1st. An email with more information was sent to you this morning. Please check your school email or talk to Ms. Hensch for more info.
