Inver Grove Heights Middle School Announcements

Our first Choir Concert will be on Monday, November 13th at 6pm in the Simley High School Performing Arts Center.
-Students should be dressed in all solid black clothing, as professional as they can look. -Students can wear whatever shoes they choose. (no hats or hoods)
-Students should be in their assigned seat by 5:50pm
-This concert is graded and required for all students. Sporting events, work, and lack of transportation are not considered excused absences.
We have been hard at work and are excited to share our music with you!
Students who are not in Choir but would like to watch need to be with an adult.
Nuestro primer concierto de coro será el lunes 13 de noviembre a las 6pm en el Simley High School Performing Arts Center.
-Los estudiantes deben estar vestidos con ropa de color negro sólido, tan profesional como pueden mirar. -Los estudiantes pueden usar cualquier zapato que elijan. (no sombreros o capuchas)

Like to swim? The Boys’ Swimming & Diving (6th-12th) starts Monday, Nov. 27th. No one “sits on the bench” during meets and there are no cuts from the team. Six Grade Party! The MS PTSA invites 6th graders to a party on Friday, November 10, 6-8pm in the IGHMS Gyms. Cost is $5. Featuring activities, games, a DJ dance party, inflatables, selfie wall and more! Pizza and pop/water will be served. Bring a food shelf item to enter to win prizes! Parents, please help us out! Check out the signup link for opportunities like ticket sales leading up to the event and various spots during the event itself.

Parents and Guardians- Attendance Notification News!
We now have an ATTENDANCE EMAIL. Parents/Guardians, you can now use email to notify IGHMS about student absences.
Please email us at [email protected]. Please make sure to add your students name, grade, and the reason for the absence. These emails can only come from the legal parent/guardians listed in Campus.
If preferred, parents and guardians can still call the attendance line at 651-306-7878.

Dear Parents & Families of School District 199 Students in Grades K-8,
All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door.
