  • College visits: 

    University of Northwestern will be here today at 1:35 PM and Hibbing Community College and Hamline University will be here tomorrow. Sign-up with Ms. Kimble or by using the QR codes around the student center.

  • Are you a senior who has a college application or Direct Admissions questions? Need to meet with Ms. Kimble before a November 1st deadline? Parents bugging you to get the application done? Good news! There will be application work sessions available in the student center with Ms. Kimble for multiple hours this Friday, October 27th. Come work on applications, ask questions, and get support on any area of the application or process! Sign-up with the QR codes around the Student Center or by emailing Ms. Kimble.

  • Attention Girls with Gymnastics Experience in Grades 7 -12 grade. Come to a meeting about Tryouts for the Simley Gymnastics Team on Friday from 3:45-4:45 in the Spartan Center.  Gymnasts can stay afterward and ask individual questions.  All girls will need to arrange a ride home after the meeting.  If parents have questions, come into the Spartan Center at 4:45 to talk to Mrs. Walsh or contact at w[email protected]

  • Simley High School would like to give a very warm welcome to the German exchange students from the Albertus-Magnus-Gymnasium (pronounced gim-NAH-zee-um) in Rottweil, Germany and wish you a great stay for the next two-and-a-half weeks.

  •  Students, who have a parking permit, are only allowed to park in the student lot, on the west side of the building near the baseball fields. No students are permitted to park in the staff lot, located in the front of the building.  

  • Panoramic photos are here! If you ordered one, please stop into the main office for pick-up.

  • The Simley Nordic Ski Team is a great way to spend the winter months getting outside, improving fitness and being with friends.  Nordic (cross country) skiing is open to all students grades 7-12.  No experience needed. Workouts are individualized so every skier can feel good about practices and meets.  Registration is now open.  Please email Coach Heath Anderson [email protected] with any questions. 
  • Seniors: Your senior photo, baby photo, and senior quote are due December 1st. An email with more information was sent to you this morning. Please check your school email or talk to Ms. Hensch for more info.
  • Students are not allowed to park in the staff lot and only permitted student vehicles are allowed in the student lot. If you need a parking permit. See Ms. Sievert in the main office.
  •  Attn SENIORS, It's time to schedule a Senior Meeting with your school counselor to discuss your current credits and progress towards graduation.  We also want to review your senior schedule, confirm your order for cap and gown, and go over name pronunciation for graduation.   Please schedule your senior meeting by using the QR appointment codes for our counselors, which are posted throughout the building. 
  •  Now is a great time to start thinking about the upcoming Holiday season. The Boys Hockey team is doing a fundraiser with Gertens!  Please visit:  http://www.gertensfundraising.com/ and enter store ID code 857.  30% of all green sales and 15% of all plant card sales go BACK to the team.  Thank you for your support!
  • Simley Boys Basketball will be holding a preseason meeting for both parents and students (9th – 12th) on Monday Oct. 30th from 6pm- 6:30pm at the Spartan Center.  If you plan to try out for the 23-24 season, please plan to attend.   • The Simley Baseball team is having a fundraiser at IGH Brewing on November 6. Please come support the team.
