The Simley Nordic Ski Team is a great way to spend the winter months getting outside, improving fitness and being with friends. Nordic (cross country) skiing is open to all students grades 7-12. No experience needed. Workouts are individualized so every skier can feel good about practices and meets. Registration is now open. Please email Coach Heath Anderson [email protected] with any questions.
El equipo de esquí nórdico de Simley es una excelente manera de pasar los meses de invierno saliendo al aire libre, mejorando su condición física y estando con amigos. Interested in joining the 2023-2024 Winter Competitive Dance Team? Winter Competitive Team tryouts will take place on Monday, October 23rd from 5:30-6:30pm & 6:45-7:45pm and on Tuesday, October 24th from 3:45-4:45 pm. Team Placement will take place on Tuesday, October 24th after the first practice. If you are currently in grades 6-12, you are welcome to try out. Attention: All Parents/Guardians of IGH Middle School Students - Don't forget about our October PTSA meeting - Tuesday, October 24th at 6:30pm in the Middle School IMC. Virtual option to attend the meeting is listed below.
We will be discussing 6th grade party planning and volunteer opportunities for that party, Online Book fair going on until October 29th, IG Brewery fundraiser in November and other fundraising ideas/options. Mr. Bernhardson will also be attending to talk about the Future Ready Referendum that will be on the ballot on November 7, 2023.
Middle School PTSA Volunteer opportunities include:
-Officer Positions Open: President or Vice President
- Dine Out Night or Fundraising Coordinator
- 6th grade party volunteers
- 7 & 8th grade party committees
-Teacher appreciation
-Book fair Co-coordinator (for Winter conferences)

Six Grade Party! The MS PTSA invites 6th graders to a party on Friday, November 10, 6-8pm in the IGHMS Gyms. Cost is $5. Featuring activities, games, a DJ dance party, inflatables, selfie wall and more! Pizza and pop/water will be served. Bring a food shelf item to enter to win prizes! Parents, please help us out! Check out the signup link for opportunities like ticket sales leading up to the event and various spots during the event itself.

Parents and Guardians- Attendance Notification News!
We now have an ATTENDANCE EMAIL. Parents/Guardians, you can now use email to notify IGHMS about student absences.
Please email us at [email protected]. Please make sure to add your students name, grade, and the reason for the absence. These emails can only come from the legal parent/guardians listed in Campus.
If preferred, parents and guardians can still call the attendance line at 651-306-7878.

Dear Parents & Families of School District 199 Students in Grades K-8,
All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door.
