  •  Looking for a great meal tonight after conferences? Come stop by IGH Brewing to support the Simley Cross Country team from 4-10 p.m. Hope to see you there!

  • St. Kate's will be here tomorrow at 9:25 AM and UW-Eau Claire will be here tomorrow at 11:15 AM. Please sign-up with Ms. Kimble or by scanning the QR code around the students center to attend. 

  •  Direct Admissions Minnesota emails and letters went out to seniors who are on-track for graduation on Friday. This notification will show you the list of colleges that you have been admitted to based on your courses, grades, and GPA through the end of junior year. The next step is to complete the Google form linked in the email and indicate which colleges you're interested in. You'll receive a follow-up email from each school you check with next steps and how to apply for free to that school. Don't miss out on Direct Admissions! See Ms. Kimble with questions! 

  •  Wednesday, October 18th is the last day to register for the PSAT. Students must register for the exam on the Infinite Campus. The PSAT will take place at Simley on 10/31.

  • Are you looking to try something new this winter? Join Spartan Robotics! There will be an informational meeting after school on Monday, October 23rd. Come to EA-109 from 3:30-4:00 to learn about all the opportunities the robotics team has to offer. Open to students in grades 9-12, no experience necessary. All are welcome!
  • Students are not allowed to park in the staff lot and only permitted student vehicles are allowed in the student lot. If you need a parking permit. See Ms. Sievert in the main office.
  • Don't forget to pick up your permission slip in the Student Center for the Career Connect Fair! The fair, which includes over 100 employers in many different career fields, will be held Tuesday at St. Paul RiverCentre. You don't want to miss this great opportunity to explore future career options!
  • Interested in joining the 2023-2024 Winter Competitive Dance Team? Winter Competitive Team tryouts will take place on Monday, October 23rd from 5:30-6:30pm & 6:45-7:45pm and on Tuesday, October 24th from 3:45-4:45 pm. Team Placement will take place on Tuesday, October 24th after the first practice. If you are currently in grades 6-12, you are welcome to try out.   •  Remember that conferences are Tonight and Tuesday evening from 4-7:30pm. There will be no school on Wednesday due to daytime conferences from 9am-3pm and no school Thursday and Friday for MEA.
  •  Attn SENIORS, It's time to schedule a Senior Meeting with your school counselor to discuss your current credits and progress towards graduation.  We also want to review your senior schedule, confirm your order for cap and gown, and go over name pronunciation for graduation.   Please schedule your senior meeting by using the QR appointment codes for our counselors, which are posted throughout the building. 
  •  Now is a great time to start thinking about the upcoming Holiday season.   • Simley Boys Basketball will be holding a preseason meeting for both parents and students (9th – 12th) on Monday Oct. 30th from 6pm- 6:30pm at the Spartan Center.  If you plan to try out for the 23-24 season, please plan to attend.
