IGHMS students are encouraged to show their Spartan Spirit by dressing up during Homecoming Week (Sept 18th-Sept 22nd):
Wednesday (Sept 20th) is Neon Day
Thursday (Sept 21st) is Twin Day
Friday (Sept 22nd) is Spartan Gear Day
Se anima a los estudiantes de IGHMS a mostrar su espíritu espartano vistiéndose durante la Semana del regreso a casa (del 18 al 22 de septiembre):

Simley Girls Basketball will be holding a preseason meeting for both parents and students (8th – 12th grade) on Monday Sept. 25th from 6pm- 7pm at the Spartan Center. If you plan to try out for the 23-24 season please plan to attend. Information that will be covered meet the coaching staff, tryout and team formation, fundraising opportunities, team and fan apparel, and Simley Basketball Booster open positions. We will also be kicking off our preseason workout sessions. Players please plan to attend the 1st 30 min of the meeting then you can head to the North gym for a workout. If you cannot attend and plan to tryout, please email simleygirlsbasketball.com with your name, grade, and contact information.

5th Quarter Lock-in - September 22, 9:30-11:30 PM
Students in grades 6-8 are invited to a night of fun at Veterans Memorial Community Center after the Simley Homecoming Football Game on September 22. The VMCC will have an open gym, ice skating, inflatables, crafts, and space to just hang out with friends. Snacks provided. $10 per participant. Register at www.ighmn.gov/register, click Activities, search "5th Quarter."

Parents and Guardians- Attendance Notification News!
We now have an ATTENDANCE EMAIL. Parents/Guardians, you can now use email to notify IGHMS about student absences.
Please email us at [email protected]. Please make sure to add your students name, grade, and the reason for the absence. These emails can only come from the legal parent/guardians listed in Campus.
If preferred, parents and guardians can still call the attendance line at 651-306-7878.

Dear Parents & Families of School District 199 Students in Grades K-8,
All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door.
