   Inver Grove Heights Middle School Announcements

IGHMS Families,

 

As we wind down the school year, please remind your student/child that they:

 

  • Need to complete any missing work and turn it in as soon as possible
  • Need to clean out their locker completely
  • Should NOT bring their backpack to school this week. We will be checking all bags as students enter school
  • Should NOT bring  any items to school that would cause a distraction or make a mess (ex: squirt gun, water balloons, eggs)
  • Will be dismissed at 11:55 on Thursday, June 8th
  • And finally, they should have an amazing summer break! We will miss them!

Familias IGHMS,

A medida que finaliza el año escolar, recuérdele a su estudiante/hijo que:

  • Necesita completar cualquier trabajo faltante y entregarlo lo antes posible
  • Necesita limpiar su casillero por completo
  • No debe traer su mochila a la escuela la última semana. Revisaremos todas las bolsas cuando los estudiantes ingresen a la escuela.
  • No debe traer ningún artículo a la escuela que pueda causar una distracción o ensuciar (p. ej., pistola de agua, globos de agua, huevos)
  • Los estudiantes salen temprano a las 11:55 de la mañana el jueves 8 de junio.
  • Y finalmente, ¡deberían tener unas increíbles vacaciones de verano! ¡Los extrañaremos!

Students who are entering 9th grade next year and are interested in playing soccer, please add your name to the Simley Soccer Booster mailing list by visiting https://www.simleysoccer.com/add-your-name-to-our-mailing-list.html. After you are added to the mailing list, you will receive email communications about summer camp, captains practice, tryouts and registration for the Fall 2023 season.

 

Los estudiantes que ingresen al noveno grado el próximo año y estén interesados en jugar fútbol, agreguen su nombre a la lista de correo de Simley Soccer Booster visitando https://www.simleysoccer.com/add-your-name-to-our-mailing-list.html. Una vez que lo agreguen a la lista de correo, recibirá comunicaciones por correo electrónico sobre el campamento de verano, la práctica de los capitanes, las pruebas y el registro para la temporada de otoño de 2023.

Parents and Guardians- Attendance Notification News!

We now have an ATTENDANCE EMAIL. Parents/Guardians, you can now use email to notify IGHMS about student absences.

Please email us at  [email protected]. Please make sure to add your students name, grade, and the reason for the absence. These emails can only come from the legal parent/guardians listed in Campus. 

If preferred, parents and guardians can still call the attendance line at 651-306-7878.

Padres y tutores: ¡Noticias de notificación de asistencia!

Ya tenemos un CORREO ELECTRÓNICO DE ASISTENCIA. Padres/tutores, ahora pueden usar el correo electrónico para notificar a IGHMS sobre las ausencias de los estudiantes.

Envíenos un correo electrónico a [email protected]. Asegúrese de agregar el nombre de su estudiante, el grado y el motivo de la ausencia. Estos correos electrónicos solo pueden provenir de los padres/tutores legales que figuran en Campus.

Si lo prefieren, los padres y tutores aún pueden llamar a la línea de asistencia al 651-306-7878.

 

Dear Parents & Families of School District 199 Students in Grades K-8,

All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door. 

Todos los estudiantes de secundaria deben estar acompañados por un adulto a TODOS los 

eventos deportivos. Cualquier estudiante que no esté acompañado por un adulto será rechazado en la puerta.
