Friday (5/26): Summer Vacation Day - wear your best school-appropriate summer gear!

Students for Change is proud to announce a clothing drive to end the school year! Treemachine bins are located at the middle school entrance and are now accepting donations. For every pound of clothing collected, IGHMS will receive a donation. For every bin filled, Treemachine will plant a tree. Please consider donating your gently used clothing items (shoes included) between now and the end of the school year.
¡Students for Change se enorgullece de anunciar una colecta de ropa para terminar el año escolar! Los contenedores Treemachine se encuentran en la entrada de la escuela intermedia y ahora aceptan donaciones. Por cada libra de ropa recolectada, IGHMS recibirá una donación. Por cada papelera llena, Treemachine plantará un árbol. Considere donar sus prendas de vestir usadas en buen estado (incluidos los zapatos) desde ahora hasta el final del año escolar.
Middle School Choir Concert:
Our final choir concert will be TONIGHT, May 22nd at 6pm in the Simley High School Performing Arts Center.
Students should be dressed in nice pants (black pants or blue jeans with no rips or holes) and their black choir shirt and in their assigned seat by 5:50pm.
This concert is graded and required for all students.Sporting events, work, and lack of transportation are not considered excused absences. We have been hard at work and are excited to share our music with you!
Students who are not in choir need to be with an adult to watch the concert.
Concierto del coro de la escuela secundaria:
Nuestro último concierto del coro será el lunes 22 de mayo a las 6:00 p. m. en el Centro de Artes Escénicas de la Escuela Secundaria Simley.
Los estudiantes deben estar vestidos con pantalones bonitos (pantalones negros o jeans azules sin rasgaduras ni agujeros) y su camisa de coro negra y en su asiento asignado a las 5:50 p. m.
Este concierto es calificado y obligatorio para todos los estudiantes. Los eventos deportivos, el trabajo y la falta de transporte no se consideran ausencias justificadas. ¡Hemos estado trabajando duro y estamos emocionados de compartir nuestra música contigo!
Los estudiantes que no están en el coro necesitan estar con un adulto para ver el concierto.
Parents and Guardians- Attendance Notification News!
We now have an ATTENDANCE EMAIL. Parents/Guardians, you can now use email to notify IGHMS about student absences.
Please email us at [email protected]. Please make sure to add your students name, grade, and the reason for the absence. These emails can only come from the legal parent/guardians listed in Campus.
If preferred, parents and guardians can still call the attendance line at 651-306-7878.

Ya tenemos un CORREO ELECTRÓNICO DE ASISTENCIA. Padres/tutores, ahora pueden usar el correo electrónico para notificar a IGHMS sobre las ausencias de los estudiantes.

Dear Parents & Families of School District 199 Students in Grades K-8,
All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door.
Todos los estudiantes de secundaria deben estar acompañados por un adulto a TODOS los
eventos deportivos. Cualquier estudiante que no esté acompañado por un adulto será rechazado en la puerta.
