Middle School Track and Field registration is now open! This sport is open to all students in grades 6-8, no previous experience necessary. Learn about and try both running and field events. This is a great opportunity to improve your conditioning for other sports too! Families need to register in Infinite Campus through the Parent Portal, students must have a current sports physical on file with the school to participate. Practice will begin the first week in April after spring break.
¡La inscripción para atletismo en la escuela secundaria ya está abierta! Este deporte está abierto a todos los estudiantes en los grados 6-8, no se necesita experiencia previa. Infórmese y pruebe los eventos de carrera y de campo. ¡Esta es una gran oportunidad para mejorar tu acondicionamiento para otros deportes también! Las familias deben registrarse en Infinite Campus a través del Portal para padres, los estudiantes deben tener un examen físico deportivo actualizado en el archivo de la escuela para participar. Lacrosse
There is a BOYS Player/Parent meeting today WED 3/8 at 7PM in the Spartan Center for any boys interested in playing lacrosse this spring.
You don’t need to have experience playing – ALL are welcome 7th grade – 12th grade!
Please also make sure to officially register within Infinite Campus – Activity Registration menu by Tryouts – which start MON 4/3! A physical is needed on file within the last 3 years.

Hay una reunión de jugadores/padres para NIÑOS hoy, MIÉRCOLES 3/8 a las 7 p. m. en el Spartan Center para cualquier niño interesado en jugar lacrosse esta primavera.
No necesitas tener experiencia jugando – ¡TODOS son bienvenidos de 7° grado a 12° grado!
¡Asegúrese también de registrarse oficialmente en Infinite Campus - Menú de registro de actividades por Tryouts - que comienzan el LUNES 4/3! Se necesita un examen físico en el archivo dentro de los últimos 3 años.
Tryouts for the Simley Softball teams are open to 7th through 12th graders. Registration is now open in the Infinite Campus Portal. You MUST have a current physical on file or you will not be able to register. Captains practice will be held through the 10th, 3:40 to 5:40 in the A/B Gym. Las pruebas para los equipos de Simley Softball están abiertas para estudiantes de 7º a 12º grado. Las inscripciones ya están abiertas en el Portal Campus Infinito. Interested in playing Golf this spring? The Simley Golf Team (boys team and girls team) has their Welcome Meeting on Thursday March 16 in the Spartan Center at Simley for all players and parents. All interested 7th - 12th graders are welcome! Apparel sizing at 6pm, meeting starts at 6:30pm.

We now have an ATTENDANCE EMAIL. Parents/Guardians, you can now use email to notify IGHMS about student absences.
Please email us at [email protected]. Please make sure to add your students name, grade, and the reason for the absence. These emails can only come from the legal parent/guardians listed in Campus.
If preferred, parents and guardians can still call the attendance line at 651-306-7878.

Dear Parents & Families of School District 199 Students in Grades K-8,
All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door.
