Congratulations to the Boys Hockey teams on victories over SSP on Saturday. The Spartans Junior Varsity won 2-1 with a strong performance by Freshman goalie Everrett Hay who stopped 42 of 43 shots! The Varsity then followed the JV with a 5-2 win. A total TEAM effort! Junior Forward Louie Tuccitto had two power play goals, Sophomore forward Alex Miller had two timely goals and Sophomore forward Tyler Letendre scored his first career Varsity goal. Next up for the Spartans is a crosstown matchup against Two Rivers at West St. Paul Arena on Thursday. Game times are 5:00/7:00 pm. If you are looking for something to do, come cheer on your Spartans to another Conference and section victory!

ISD 199 Winter Weather Procedures

ISD 199 will have two weather-related non-school days before Flex Learning days are declared and students continue classwork from home. On the third Snow or Cold Day of the school year, Flex Learning days will begin. Click here for information about Flex Learning Days.

School closures will be announced in an automated phone call, texts to families who have opted into receiving text messages, a post on the district website and social media accounts, and announcements through local television and radio stations. Free Community Event on February 1

IGH families and neighbors are invited to the IGH Spartan Prevention, Advocacy, and Resource Coalition’s free community event featuring motivational speaker Cory Greenwood on February 1! Cory's funny, heartfelt stories are a great way for families to connect about mental health, decision-making, and more. Click here for event details.

Did you know that breakfast is free for all students everyday?  While we have returned to paying for lunch, breakfast is still free for everyone.  Stop by the to-go cart in the commons or go directly to the cafeteria each day before school to pick up your breakfast and feed your brain for the morning.  If you need help paying for lunch, please complete the educational benefits application, which can be done on the parent portal or on a form found in the guidance office.

 
Reminder-Blankets are not allowed to be worn at school for health and safety reasons.  Students are encouraged to dress in layers as some learning spaces vary in temperature.
