Congratulations to the boys swimming & diving team for placing 4th out of 16 teams at the Maroon & Gold Invitational at the University of Minnesota on Saturday.  Point scores were: John Tabor placed 4th in the 200 free & 2nd in the 500 free; Glenn Rubendall placed 16th in the 200 free & 15th in the 100 butterfly; Vincent Evangelista placed 9th in the 200 I.M. & 6th in the 100 backstroke, Christian Jack placed 12th in the 200 I.M. & 10th in the 100 backstroke; Lucas McMonigal placed 15th in the 200 I.M.; Ethan Gregg placed 15th in the 50 free & 12th in the 100 butterfly; Marioys Makar placed 3rd in the 1-meter diving; Carter Kline placed 7th in the 1-meter diving, Fernando Madrid Pina placed 11th in the 1-meter diving; and Hunter Collins placed 7th in the 100 free & 6th in the 100 breaststroke.  The team of Vincent Evangelista, Hunter Collins, Ethan Gregg, and Christian Jack took 9th in the 200 Medley Relay; the team of Will Foster, Lucas McMonigal, Shilah Smolinski, and John Tabor took 11th in the 200 Free Relay, and he team of Ethan Gregg, John Tabor, Christian Jack , and Hunter Collins took 9th in the 400 Free Relay.  The Spartans next meet is True Team Sections Saturday at Northfield.

ISD 199 Winter Weather Procedures

ISD 199 will have two weather-related non-school days before Extended Learning days are declared and students continue classwork from home. On the third Snow or Cold Day of the school year, Extended Learning days will begin. Click here for information about Extended Learning Days.

School closures will be announced in an automated phone call, texts to families who have opted into receiving text messages, a post on the district website and social media accounts, and announcements through local television and radio stations. Did you know that breakfast is free for all students everyday?  While we have returned to paying for lunch, breakfast is still free for everyone.  Stop by the to-go cart in the commons or go directly to the cafeteria each day before school to pick up your breakfast and feed your brain for the morning.  If you need help paying for lunch, please complete the educational benefits application, which can be done on the parent portal or on a form found in the guidance office.

 
Reminder-Blankets are not allowed to be worn at school for health and safety reasons.  Students are encouraged to dress in layers as some learning spaces vary in temperature.
