Free Community Event on February 1

IGH families and neighbors are invited to the IGH Spartan Prevention, Advocacy, and Resource Coalition’s free community event featuring motivational speaker Cory Greenwood on February 1! Cory's funny, heartfelt stories are a great way for families to connect about mental health, decision-making, and more. Click here for event details.

All are invited to the American Indian Education Program meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, December 20th at 2 PM. We are excited to have a "Hotshot"  Wild Land Firefighter crew Supervisor joining us, he has over 15 years experience in with this elite group of firefighters and will share his career journey and experiences with us.  Our other presenter is from the local Shakopee Mdewakonton Tribe and SHE is also a firefighter and manages their  land resources dept.  Both are highly skilled and trained, certified EMTs and Native! If you missed last week's IGH firefighter session or are interested in learning more about a career as a firefighter, you can sign-up with Ms. Jaco in the Counseling Office.

Did you know that breakfast is free for all students everyday?  While we have returned to paying for lunch, breakfast is still free for everyone.  Stop by the to-go cart in the commons or go directly to the cafeteria each day before school to pick up your breakfast and feed your brain for the morning.
If you need help paying for lunch, please complete the educational benefits application, which can be done on the parent portal or on a form found in the guidance office.

Seniors, the deadline is approaching to order your cap and gown for graduation. Schedule your senior meeting with your counselor so you do not miss this deadline.
Reminder-Blankets are not allowed to be worn at school for health and safety reasons.  Students are encouraged to dress in layers as some learning spaces vary in temperature.
