Congratulations to the Boys Swimming & Diving team for their 102-79 win against Two Rivers last night.  Individual winners were John Tabor won the 200 freestyle & 500 freestyle; Ethan Gregg won the 50 freestyle & 100 butterfly; Marioys Makar won the 1 meter diving; Christian Jack won the 100 backstroke; and Hunter Collins won the 100 breaststroke: The team of Vincent Evangelista, Hunter Collins, Ethan Gregg, Christian Jack won the 200 Medley Relay; and the team of Hunter Collins, Vincent Evangelista, Carter Kline, and John Tabor won the 200 Free Relay.  The Spartans next meet is Tuesday, Dec. 20th at Hastings at 6:00 p.m. 

 

The gymnastics team had their staff appreciation meet last night and came away with their best team total this season of 132.100 against Tartans 115.125. Congratulations to the following top finishers;

Lucy Pentilla took 2nd on beam and 1st on vault, bars and in the All-Around.

Ashley Lynner took 3rd on beam, 2nd on vault, bars and in the all-Around and 1st on Floor.

Alexa Lynner took 3rd in the All-Around and tied her sister with 2nd on bars.

Emerson Hocking took 1st place on beam.

The Spartan gymnasts look to improve their score even more after the winter break when SSP comes to our gym on January 5th.

ISD 199 Winter Weather Procedures

ISD 199 will have two weather-related non-school days before Extended Learning days are declared and students continue classwork from home. On the third Snow or Cold Day of the school year, Extended Learning days will begin. Click here for information about Extended Learning Days.

 

School closures will be announced in an automated phone call, texts to families who have opted into receiving text messages, a post on the district website and social media accounts, and announcements through local television and radio stations. Did you know that breakfast is free for all students everyday?  While we have returned to paying for lunch, breakfast is still free for everyone.  Stop by the to-go cart in the commons or go directly to the cafeteria each day before school to pick up your breakfast and feed your brain for the morning.  
If you need help paying for lunch, please complete the educational benefits application, which can be done on the parent portal or on a form found in the guidance office.

Seniors, the deadline is approaching to order your cap and gown for graduation. Schedule your senior meeting with your counselor so you do not miss this deadline.
Reminder-Blankets are not allowed to be worn at school for health and safety reasons.  Students are encouraged to dress in layers as some learning spaces vary in temperature.
