The Winter One Acts are almost here! Auditions will be held November 28th and November 29th in the Performing Arts Center at 3:30. You will need to perform a monologue but it does not need to be memorized, there will be a link at auditions of monologues for you to use if you can not find one. Call backs will be November 30th at 3:30 in the Performing Arts Center, and the cast list will go up December 1st. 


Interested in getting some great food and supporting Simley student-athletes?

Come out tonight from 4-9 to IGH Brewing to support the Simley Track & Field team. The program gets 10% of all orders and purchases.  Bring a friend and we will see you there!


Don't feel like cooking? Want to support student activities just by having dinner? Come to Inver Grove Brewing on Tuesday, November 29th from 3:00-9:00 pm to support the Simley High School robotics team, Spartan Robotics! A portion of all sales from this evening (excluding gift cards) will come back to the team. Robots are expensive...help us build a good one! Hope to see you there :)

Final Exams are this week:

  • Wednesday, November 30 - Odd Classes (5th hour stays the same)
  •  Thursday, December 1 - Evan Classes (5th hour stays the same)
  •  **Friday, December 2: No School**
Congratulations to Simley Bowling Varsity for earning a spot in the State Tournament being held on Saturday, December 3rd.  The State Tournament will be held at Drkula's.  The team consists of Joe Anderson, Zach Howe, Brooke O'Brien, David Olson, Brooke Salzman, and Carter Vitch.  Good Luck!
All students planning on attending the State Football Game on Friday, Dec 2nd must purchase Tickets online at mshsl.org.  Students must show proof of ticket purchase in order to sign up for Student Bus in the Activities Office.  There are 3 buses available, and will leave at 2:30.

Simley cheese and charcuterie club is returning, for everyone interested go to Simley_cheese_club on insta and fill out the survey in bio
Did you know that breakfast is free for all students everyday?  While we have returned to paying for lunch, breakfast is still free for everyone.  Stop by the to-go cart in the commons or go directly to the cafeteria each day before school to pick up your breakfast and feed your brain for the morning.  

If you need help paying for lunch, please complete the educational benefits application, which can be done on the parent portal or on a form found in the guidance office.  

Seniors, the deadline is approaching to order your cap and gown for graduation. Schedule your senior meeting with your counselor so you do not miss this deadline.
Reminder-Blankets are not allowed to be worn at school for health and safety reasons.  Students are encouraged to dress in layers as some learning spaces vary in temperature.
 
Seniors-This is a reminder that the Yearbook needs key information from you for the Yearbook. The main things needed are your senior photo, baby photo, and your senior quote. All of these things are due  December 1st.
We also recommend that you buy a Yearbook NOW. The Yearbook is currently at the lowest price it will be all year. To purchase:

Simley Co-Ed High School Bowling Club:Do you have a son or daughter in 7th through 12th grade that is interested in bowling for the Simley Co-Ed High School Bowling Club? Any level of bowler is welcome. If interested, please contact Gary Salzman(coach) at [email protected] for more information.

Bus Drivers Needed! ISD 199 is looking for more bus drivers and bus driver subs! Before and after school shifts are available, 4 hours per day are guaranteed, up to $23.25 per hour plus paid training, and full benefits at 25 hours per week. Learn more and apply at www.isd199.org/careers.
