The Winter One Acts are almost here! Auditions will be held November 28th and November 29th in the Performing Arts Center at 3:30. You will need to perform a monologue but it does not need to be memorized, there will be a link at auditions of monologues for you to use if you can not find one. Call backs will be November 30th at 3:30 in the Performing Arts Center, and the cast list will go up December 1st. Hola, espero que todos esten bien. ¡Los Winter One Acts ya casi están aquí! Las audiciones se llevarán a cabo el 28 y 29 de noviembre en el Centro de Artes Escénicas a las 3:30. Congratulations to both of our Simley JV teams for qualifying for the State Tournament. The JV State Tournament will be held Sunday, November 20th. Good luck to both teams!
The Simley Red team consists of Kaden Darrow, Vicente Elustondo, Shane Gorr, Brianna O'Brien, Wyatt Seelhammer, and Tori WoodBingham.
The Simley Blue team consists of Skylar DeWall, Carter Hakl, Jade Hurd, Evan Jacobson, Keonna McFarland, and Nadia VanLeer

Parent Communications Survey Opportunity Through This Friday
Effective communication between our school district and our parents is vitally important. Please take a few minutes to complete this parent communication survey by November 18 to help us identify improvements.

SPARC (Spartan Prevention, Advocacy & Resource Coalition) is holding a community wide winter clothing drive November 7 - 21st. Donate gently used or new coats, scarves, mittens, gloves, hats, boots and snow pants. All donations will stay within Inver Grove Heights to help individuals and families! Donations can be dropped off in the Simley High School main office or the Inver Glen Library.
SPARC (Spartan Prevention, Advocacy & Resource Coalition) llevará a cabo una colecta de ropa de invierno en toda la comunidad del 7 al 21 de noviembre. IGH Middle School and Simley High School are partnering with the Inver Grove Heights Spartan Prevention, Advocacy, and Resource Coalition (SPARC) for a short parent survey. Click here to complete the survey. Your participation will help our community find more ways to promote positive, healthy choices for our youth. For every completed survey, SPARC will donate $5 to the group of your choice: IGH B.E.S.T. Foundation, the Friends of the Inver Glen Library, or CLIMB Theatre. - Funded by MN DHS-BHD.

Parents and Guardians- Attendance Notification News!
We now have an ATTENDANCE EMAIL. Parents/Guardians, you can now use email to notify IGHMS about student absences.
Please email us at [email protected]. Please make sure to add your students name, grade, and the reason for the absence. These emails can only come from the legal parent/guardians listed in Campus.
If preferred, parents and guardians can still call the attendance line at 651-306-7878.

Dear Parents & Families of School District 199 Students in Grades K-8,
All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door.
