Do you have school spirit and want to be a part of a team who can lift you up? Are you interested in joining the Simley High School Cheer team? If you are, find the sign-up sheets outside Ms. Coryell's and Ms. Ekstam's offices to let them know you are interested in learning more. The sign-up sheets will be available until this Friday! An informational meeting will be held in the near future.

 

Attention fall athletes, please clean out your athletic locker by this Friday, November 11th.  Locks and items will be removed.  If you are in WInter sports and would like to keep your lock and locker, please tell Mr. Kissling or Ms. Ekstam.
College visits: Wednesday, November 9th, University of Minnesota Duluth will be here at 1:35 PM. To sign-up, see Ms. Kimble.
Seniors, the deadline is approaching to order your cap and gown for graduation. Schedule your senior meeting with your counselor so you do not miss this deadline. 
Looking to travel in the Summer of 2024? Ms. Schwanz and Ms. Hensch are leading a student trip to travel to the US National Parks. Mark down in your calendar to attend the Informational Parent Meeting on Tuesday, November 15th at 6:00pm. See Ms. Schwanz or Ms. Hensch for more information.
The annual Student Council food drive is this week! Bring non-perishable food items or monetary donations to your first hour class for Neighbors, Incorporated and our Simley community. The following items are in high demand at Neighbors & Simley:Granola Bars, Pancake Mix, Cereal, Baking Needs, Baked Beans, Peanut Butter, Tuna, Toothpaste, Toothbrush and Shampoo. The class with the most donations per student will receive donuts and juice on Monday, November 15.

Are you interested in joining the BOYS SWIMMING AND DIVING team? 9th-12th Grade Season begins Monday, Nov. 28th.  No one “sits on the bench” during games and there are no cuts from the team. Want to perform? Want to inform? Join the Speech Team! Information meeting in MS 2005, Ms. Anderson's room, Nov 29th after school. Open to grades 7-12!
Boys basketball 9th grade Tryouts will be 11/14-11/16 from 3:45-5:45 in the Middle School Gym.  Parents and students will register for winter sports through the Infinite Campus portal. MUST REGISTER BY 11/11/22 to be eligible to tryout.

Share Your Perspective, Now-November 23

IGH Middle School and Simley High School are partnering with the Inver Grove Heights Spartan Prevention, Advocacy, and Resource Coalition (SPARC) for a short parent survey. Click here to complete the survey. Your participation will help our community find more ways to promote positive, healthy choices for our youth. For every completed survey, SPARC will donate $5 to the group of your choice: IGH B.E.S.T. Foundation, the Friends of the Inver Glen Library, or CLIMB Theatre. - Funded by MN DHS-BHD.

Reminder-Blankets are not allowed to be worn at school for health and safety reasons.  Students are encouraged to dress
in layers as some learning spaces vary in temperature.

Attention seniors: Please schedule your senior meeting with your counselor. The only way to order your cap and gown is by having your senior meeting so it is very important to schedule your meeeting.
Are you looking for something to do this winter (December thru April) and are not participating in any winter athletics or programs? Do you like computer programming and coding? How about designing a web page, T-shirt or a logo? Maybe you like pneumatics, drive trains and welding and designing a vehicle? If you said yes to any of these, maybe FIRST Robotics is for you. There will be a meeting, pre-season, this Wednesday in room EA109 from 3:30 to 4:30. No experience necessary, just the willingness to learn, have fun and be part of a team.  If you are interested but cannot make the meeting, Call 651-306-7110, e-mail [email protected] or stop by Mr. Fisher's room and let him know.

Seniors-This is a reminder that the Yearbook needs key information from you for the Yearbook. The main things needed are your senior photo, baby photo, and your senior quote. All of these things are due  December 1st.

We also recommend that you buy a Yearbook NOW. The Yearbook is currently at the lowest price it will be all year. To purchase:
