Chromebook protection plans can still be purchased for your student’s school issued chromebook.  This protection plan covers the cost of accidental damage to the chromebook.  Without this protection plan you are responsible for the cost of any repairs or replacement of the device.  This protection plan is purchased for a one year time period.  To purchase the plan online go to the school’s website and follow these steps:

  • Sign into Infinite Campus under the parent’s account
  • Select School Store
  • Select Shop
  • Choose Technology
  • Choose the chromebook protection plan

Otherwise you may pay with check or cash to the main office during normal business hours.
Student chromebooks have a fan for cooling on the bottom of the device.  If you block the fan by having the device sitting on a bed, pillow, or other soft material it will overheat and potentially no longer work.  If that happens, you will be responsible for the repair/replacement of the device.

Other reminders:

  • no stickers or other items are to be applied to the device.
  • no eating or drinking while using the device
