Congratulations to the Boys Swimming and Diving Team for their great swims last night at the JV Conference Championships.
Ribbon winners: Easton Callahan placed 8th in 200 free; Shilah Smolinski placed 4th in 200 free and 7th in the 100 free; Colin Iverson placed 3rd in 200 free and 6th in the 100 butterfly; Hayden Geffre was the 200 free Champion; Will Foster placed 3rd in 50 free and was the 100 butterfly Champion; Ethan Deeb placed 2nd in the 100 butterfly; Zack Illetschko placed 8th in the 100 free and 4th in the 100 breaststroke; Elliott Tabor placed 5th in the 500 free; Miles Anderson placed 3rd in the 500 free; Nate Barclay placed 8th in the 100 back; James McCrea placed 7th in the 100 back; Collin Momper placed 4th in the 100 back; the team of Nate Barclay, Collin Momper, Will Foster, and Ethan Deeb placed 3rd in 200 Medley Relay; the team of Will Foster, Zack Illetschko, Shilah Smolinski, and Nate Barclay placed 2nd in the 200 Free Relay.

Seniors! The IGH B.E.S.T. Foundation Scholarships application is now open! One application to be considered for 140 scholarships only for Simley seniors. What it is: The All Night Party is held after graduation on June 9th, 2022 from 10:30pm-4:30am at Simley High School. This is a great night of fun with your class after graduation.

Minnesota and ISD 199 Escape the Vape Contest!
Use your imagination and develop your Escape the Vape masterpiece. Feel free to use any platform. Use one key fact, a call to action, and be sure that your video follows all of the contest rules, which can be found on the MN Escape the Vape website. Videos can be funny or serious, but should focus on educating youth about the harmful effects of vaping. Escape the Vape is a PSA video contest where Minnesota 6th-12th graders can use their voice to raise awareness about the dangers of vaping and expose the shadowy commercial tobacco marketing tactics behind it. Just create and upload your 30-second, vape-bashing masterpiece, and you could win $500 for you and $500 for your school or organization, along with other great prizes. Entries will be accepted February 1-28th. In addition to possibly willing prizes from the contest, participants can also win prizes from our district! If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Bierly.

In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.
When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key.
Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.
Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.
