New Announcements:

The gymnastics team won their meet last night with a new team-best for this season with a score of 129.65 to Tartans 102.75.

Outstanding finishers were: 

Ashley Lynner 2nd on vault, bars, floor, and the All-Around and 1st on beam 

Alexa Lynner 3rd on vault, bars, and in the all-around.

Emerson Hocking 3rd on Vault.

Skyla Ward 1st on floor.

Lucy Pentilla with 2nd on beam, 3rd on floor, and 1st on vault, bars, and in the All-Around.

Congratulations!  We have our staff appreciation night next Thursday night, come out and support!

 

The Nordic ski team has their first race today at Elm creek. Good luck skiers!


Attention all Juniors and Seniors- Are you interested in a Career in Sports:

Mr. Short will be teaching a Sports Science class this winter trimester. The course will teach the basic science and fundamentals and strategy of high school sports. The class will also cover sport production, sport marketing, sport media and sport history. Students will actively participate in the Simley activities department. Students will be required to attend some games in the evening. Students who are interested must apply to Will Short in the activities office. Applications can be found in the activities office. If you currently have a study hall or PE class in your schedule and you would like to be considered for this pilot program stop by the activities office and pick up an application form. Only 12 students will be allowed in the winter trimester class.  Applications are due by Friday, Dec 10. 

 

Attention Spanish Club Members, we will have a meeting on Friday, December 10th in Mrs. Valencia's room at 8:00am.  All are welcome and you can still join as a new member!

 

2022 Seniors and Families: The deadline for senior photos for the yearbook has been extended to February 1st. This is the final deadline. For more information check your school email or click HERE.  

 

Attention German Club members. There will be a meeting in Mr. Mitchell's room on Friday at 8:10am. Remember your signed permission slips for the St. Paul European Christmas Market.

Bus Drivers Needed!

ISD 199 is looking for more bus drivers and bus driver subs! Before and after school shifts are available, 4 hours per day are guaranteed, up to $23.25 per hour plus paid training, and full benefits at 25 hours per week. Learn more and apply at www.isd199.org/careers.

In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.

When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key. 

Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.

Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.
