New Announcements:

The Simley Girls Volleyball team began Section 3AAA at home against a scrappy Cretin-Derham Hall team that threw itself around the gym to try and keep its season alive in the win or go home sectional tournament. The Spartans channeled Bette Davis from the 1950 film All About Eve who uttered the famous line, “Fasten your seatbelts; we’re in for a bumpy night.” The home team won a hard-earned 29-27, 12-25, 25-9, 25-22 victory. A comfortable lead in the first set evaporated late and Simley was pushed to the max until a great dig by Senior Bella Studer was followed by a perfect set by Senior Lauren Tuccitto capped off by a set-ending kill by Senior Aadriana “Double A” Epps. The Spartans momentarily forgot how to play volleyball in set two before winning set three resoundingly. Junior Summer Scofield had a signature offensive night with four kills out of only five attempts, each coming at a crucial moment in the match. Credit the Raiders with fighting hard in the final set, but the overall game of the Spartans proved too solid, and they closed out the match with two beautiful slide attack kills by Sophomore Avery Renslow and a dazzling sweep block by Junior Naomi Romslo, who finished the night with 20 kills. Congratulations also goes to Naomi for being named an Athlete of the Week by the Star Tribune.
Attention All High School Volleyball Players: There will be a short meeting on Wednesday, October 27th in the Main Gym immediately after school to vote on post season awards, return any outstanding uniforms, and distribute information on the Spartan Wave JO volleyball program for this winter. In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.

When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key.

Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.

Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.

Do not hesitate to contact the activities office if you have any questions. 651-306-7001
