There will be a brief Boys Track & Field meeting on Thursday, Jan. 30th at 3:30 in the Cafeteria. 


The gymnastics team won their meet last night 119.6 - 107.35 against Tartan.  Top finishers were; Bekkah Scufsa 2nd on vault,  Alexa Lynner 3rd on bars, beam and All Around, Chrissa Muller 3rd on floor and Skyla Ward 1st on floor. Our next home meet is next Thursday.
 

Congratulations to the Boys Swimming & Diving team for their 103-81 win over Henry Sibley last night.  They have a 6-1 record for the season.  Individual winners were: Brandon Petryszyn won the 200 I.M.; Gabe Ukestad won the 50 free; Garrett Kaiser won the 1-meter diving; Nico Losinski won the 100 fly & the 500 freestyle; Eric Schroeder won the 100 backstroke. The team of Brandon Petryszyn, Garrett Kaiser, Ethan Joe and Ethan Gregg won the 200 Free Relay, and the team of Gabe Ukestad, Steven Hernandez, Garrett Kaiser, and Nico Losinski wont eh 400 Free Relay. A special congratulations to Garrett Kaiser who established a New Varsity 1-meter diving Record as well breaking the all time 1-meter diving Pool record that has stood for 16 years.


Attention Simley Boys Lacrosse Players in grades 7-12 and anyone interested in joining the boys lacrosse program this spring. 
There will be an informational meeting on Sunday, February 9th with Head Coach Luke Johnson in the Spartan Center at the High School.
7pm - for new players(& their parents) thinking of giving it a try and current lacrosse players(& their parents) new to the High School program.
8pm - MANDATORY mtg for all returning boys lacrosse players.(if you can't make it, contact coach Luke)


ACT Day, February 25th
11th grade students will be taking the ACT exam on February 25th.  Any 11th grade students not taking the ACT test need to notify the main office by calling 651-306-7000 option 6.  In order for students to be released after the ACT is complete, please sign and return the ACT permission form that was mailed home.  

9th, 10th, and 12th graders will have a digital learning day.

Attention Seniors: Your Graduation Fee of $50 is due March 20. You can pay this fee by cash or check in the main office. Paying via FeePay is now available.

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.


Lifetouch Photos: Students, if you had your picture taken in December your pictures and/or student ID's are available in the guidance office now. Please see Ms. Wang.


WINTER DRIVER EDUCATION SESSIONS STARTING SOON! UPDATED TIMES!
Classes will begin Monday, January 27th and runs Monday-Thursday till February 7th (10 sessions) after school from 6:15-9:15 pm.  To view the full schedule, register or learn more, please click here or call 651-306-7870. The cost of the class is $375 and that includes classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training. 


Club Photo Day has been scheduled for Friday January 31st. Please talk to your club's advisor to find out what time your group photo is.  During Club Photo Day seniors can come to the Spartan Center (preferably during lunches, but they can come any time they are free) to take a free professional photo for the yearbook. We want all seniors to be in the yearbook. 


Seniors, the yearbook deadline for senior materials has been extended until February 1st. All senior photos, baby photos, and senior surveys are due February 1st which is the final due date. There will be NO exceptions.
