Attention Seniors: Your Grad Fee of $45 is due NOW.  You can still pay this fee through your FeePay account or by cash or check in the main office. See Ms. Sievert in the main office if you have any questions.



Reminder to all 2019-2020 National Honor Society members that there is a mandatory member meeting this Wednesday, 4/24 at 7:15 AM in the Spartan Center!



There will be no GSA after school today. We will resume our meetings next Tuesday, April 30 in the Flexible Learning Space.



Attention Spanish Club Members - There will be a Spanish Club meeting this Friday at 7:15 am in Mrs. Valencia’s room.



Attention German Club members! If you are attending Festival of Nations next week and have not yet picked up a permission slip from Mr. Mitchell, you must do so and have it filled out by this Friday, 4/26 at the meeting. If you do not have it for the meeting, you will not go to the festival. Friday's meeting should be the last meeting of the year.



Attention B/JV Softball Team - Your game vs SSP today is canceled. You will have practice after school. See Coach Gilbertson if you have questions.



Attention Junior and Seniors: Prom tickets will be on sale starting this Thursday, April 22 after school. You can purchase a ticket in Mrs. Martin's classroom, EA 211 for $40. Tickets will also be sold on Friday, April 23rd after school. Next week, April 29th thru May 3rd, tickets will be on sale during lunches and before and after school. The last day to purchase a prom ticket is Monday, May 6th.


Please join us for prom, A Night Under the Stars, on Saturday, May 11th on a riverboat on the St. Croix River in Stillwater. The Grand March will be held at Simley in the Performing Arts Center at 4 pm. There will be school buses available as an option for those who would like transportation to and from Stillwater. If you chose to use the provided transportation, you will need to sign up when you purchase your ticket. We will begin boarding the boat at 6:15 pm and the boat will depart from the dock at 7 pm. You must arrive and board the boat prior to 7 pm. No refunds will be given for anyone who arrives late. Dinner will be served on the boat with the dance to follow. The dance will end at 10:30 pm when the boat arrives back at the dock. The tickets are $40 and include Grand March, dinner and the dance on the boat.


If you are bringing a guest from another school to prom, a guest contract must be completed to purchase a ticket for them.  Guest contracts for Simley's Prom are available in the Guidance office and are due back no later than Monday, May 6. Guest tickets will be sold by Ms. Martin ONLY after contracts are approved by Ms. Klukas.



Simley Theatre presents West Side Story!  Tickets are on sale now online. Tickets will also be available 30 minutes prior to show times.

Interested in having some fun while earning volunteer hours?  Sign up to help with the May Day 5k on May 4th from 8am-10:30am.  We need volunteers to help with registration, directing runners on the new course and just willing to help out with other tasks that need to be done.  If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up in the Guidance Office by Wednesday, May 1st.


Pine Bend Carnival is looking for volunteers!  

We NEED your help to make this event successful.  Really! It takes over 100 volunteers to ensure our students have a great  time at the carnival.

Please click the link below and consider signing up for a shift or two if you are able to help all night! Please be sure to sign up under the Student sections of the sign up!


Student volunteers receive a certificate indicating the number of hours you worked as well as 10 tickets to use on food or games as you wish!

Attention Parents - If you are calling in to report an absence and would like to go directly to the Attendance line, please call 651-306-7010.  



Attention Students - Wearing of hats or hoods is not allowed during the school day.  If you have any questions, please see an administrator.



REMINDER  - The IMC, the Student Center and the Spartan Center are closed all of 5th hour. You must stay in the cafeteria during your lunch period.





The National Honor Society Induction Ceremony is rescheduled to Wednesday, May 1st at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center.



 

The Simley athletic department will be recognizing all senior athletes that will be playing college sports at any level on Wednesday, May 15 at the Simley Recognition Program. If you will be playing a sport at any level in college please come down to the athletic office and check in with Mr. Short or Mrs Madigan by Friday, May 3. If you do not check in at the activities office you will not be recognized.


Spartan Trained Summer Speed & Strength Program - June 10 through August 8

For: Athletes entering grades 7-12.

Cost: $100.  The family max for fees is not applicable to the Summer programs.

Session Times:

   7:00-8:00 A.M.  - High school boys & girls entering 9th-12th grade

   8:00 - 9:00 A.M. - High School girls entering 9th-12th grade

   9:00 A.M. -10:00 A.M. - High School boys entering 9th-12th grade

  10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. - All middle school boys & girls entering 7th & 8th grade

March 18-April 30, 2019

Students will be participating with a student service learning project in Ms. Parker’s Room before and after school in W215 to sell for $10 H20 for Life T-Shirts for a fundraiser for Badi

Dhani School - Health, Nutrition & Education in India. The proposed project will be an integrated effort on improving health and nutrition awareness among children. Availability of safe drinking water, Bio-sand filters and regular check-ups to monitor the health of the students. This school has already received water and sanitation facilities with the support of H2O for Life.




Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
