If you are interested in attending the Student Council Leadership conference next Thursday at North St. Paul, your permission slip is due TODAY. The field trip includes lunch and costs $10 per student. Please bring your form and payment to Ms. Ney by the end of the school day tomorrow.

The Simley cross country team performed well at all levels at the Osseo Invite held at Elm Creek Park. In the girls varsity race, Brekken Grathen continued her streak of running personal bests. This time she ran 22:55, more than 1 minute faster than her previous best. In her 3rd race in a Simley uniform, Grace Raab ran 3 minutes than her previous 5k in 23:27, with Julia Myers running 23:37, almost two minutes faster than a week ago. Senior Becca Molstad ran her 2nd fastest time ever in 24:57. In the boys varsity race, Tim Wilmot finished just shy of a pr, while senior teammate Nick Molstad finished just behind him 18:25. Grant Dilla, Carter Bollmann, and Gabe Alvear all pr'd with times of 18:37, 19:43, and 19:53 respectively. Rounding out the finishers in the varsity race were Ben Borchard and Zachary Sayner. The boys finished in 7th place with a score of 261 points.

Homecoming Dance Tickets are on sale TODAY during all lunches!
The Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday, October 7th from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Tickets will be $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
If you are bringing a guest from another school, you must have a guest contract completed to purchase their ticket. The guest contracts are available in the Guidance Office. They are due back no later than Wednesday, October 4. You will not be allowed to purchase a guest ticket until the form is filled out completely and signed by Ms. Klukas.
TOMORROW - Please join the Simley Dance Team on Saturday, September 30th at 11:00am at DrKula's Bowling Alley for the 2nd Annual Simley Dance Team fundraiser.
Tickets are $20/person and are available through your favorite Simley Dancer. There will also be a limited number available at the door the day of the event. Come Join the FUN!

Want to be part of a FUN winning team? The BOYS SWIMMING AND DIVING Middle School & High School teams are having a short Informational MEETING on Tues. Oct. 10th at 2:45 p.m. in *Middle School lunchroom* The teams are open to all boys 6-12th grade. This meeting is a chance to meet the team and coaches and get all the paperwork your son will need to join a school sport. The Boys Swimming & Diving Season is a winter sport and begins Monday, Nov. 27th. NOTE: this meeting is for the athletes. Parents are more than welcome to attend, but they do not need to attend this meeting. There is a parent’s meeting scheduled for Dec. 5th. Interested in joining the 2017-2018 Simley Dance Team? Winter Competitive Team tryout practices will take place on Monday, October 23rd and Tuesday, October 24th from 4:00-5:00pm & 5:15-6:15pm. Tryouts and team announcements will take place on Tuesday, October 24th after practice from 6:30-7:30pm. If you are currently in grades 7-12, you are welcome to tryout. Mandatory Boy's Lacrosse Player/Parent Meeting for 2018
Thursday, November 9th, at 7pm in the Spartan Center.
If you are planning on/interested in playing lacrosse this Spring, you must attend.
We will provide important information for the 2018 Spring season, as well as our new Summer Training Program, and Fall League.
Fall Academic Awards-If you were unable to attend the ceremony Monday night, you can pick up your award in the main office.
Student Parking Lot- Only students with a Simley parking pass are able to park in the student lot. If you do not have a pass, you must park off campus. Students found parked in the lot with a pass may be ticketed, booted etc. See Ms. Sievert in the main office if you have questions.
Attention Boys hockey players:
Bring a check written to the BLC on the first day. Fall ice is for any 9-12 grader, regardless if they are trying out for the high school team.
