Simley Marching Band at Anoka's Halloween ParadeThe Simley High School Marching Band finished their competitive season at the annual Anoka Halloween Parade on October 27. They were named Grand Champion after scoring an impressive score of 87, six points higher than their closest competitor. They also received Most Outstanding Winds for their brass and woodwind sections and Most Outstanding Color Guard.

"It was truly a great way to end another phenomenal marching band season,” Simley Band Director Kevin Robinson said. “I think the students showed their heart and passion for performing, and honestly, their performance left me speechless. It was a level above the rest of the competition, but more importantly, it was the best performance of the whole season. Congratulations to these kids on their hard work and to the parents for their help each and every parade."
