The Inver Grove Heights School Board met on Monday, March 11, with the following items on the agenda:
District Highlight
- Inver Grove Heights Schools (ISD 199) Director of Community Education Barb Pierce and students from the upcoming Simley Theatre spring musical, “Once Upon a Mattress,” gave the school board an overview of their one act play and the musical.
- Simley High School and Inver Grove Heights Middle School Activities Director Will Short and captains from each sport gave an update on the winter season and what students learned.

Information Items
- Simley High School administrators gave an overview of its concurrent enrollment program that allows students to earn high school and college credit at the same time. A panel of students also spoke to the school board about their experiences in concurrent enrollment classes and how the classes have helped them reach their goals. Students credited the staff of Simley teachers for their success, saying the teachers were instrumental in their support because they knew the teachers cared.
