Welcome to Inver Grove Heights Schools! Any student living outside of district boundaries is welcome to enroll in ISD 199 through Non-resident Open Enrollment. Click here to read ISD 199 Policy 509: Enrollment of Nonresident Students.

How to Open Enroll Your Non-Resident Student

Follow these steps to complete your open enrollment:
 
1. Complete the Minnesota Open Enrollment Form
Apply for open enrollment by completing the Minnesota Open Enrollment Application. Applications can be returned by email to [email protected], by fax to 651-306-7295, or in-person at the ISD 199 District Office, 2990 80th Street East in Inver Grove Heights.
YOUR OPEN ENROLLMENT MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE YOU CAN ENROLL ONLINE.

2. Once your Minnesota Open Enrollment is approved, complete your student's enrollment online.
Families who are enrolling a kindergarten through 12th-grade students can click the "Enroll Online" button below to complete their enrollment once approved.

Families interested in enrolling in Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) classes or preschool should click the appropriate link below to enroll. Families enrolling a kindergarten through 12th-grade student can enroll online above. Early Learning families can learn more at the links below. 
If you would prefer, please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or other verification of his/her legal name and birth date to the ISD 199 District Office, 2990 80th Street East.

3. If you are enrolling your student in voluntary pre-kindergarten or the school readiness program, click the link below to apply.
