Community Education Youth Enrichment
ISD 199 Community Education offers youth enrichment classes after school that are fun and informative for elementary and middle school students. Topics range from science exploration to art projects and more.

Early Childhood ScreeningEarly Childhood Screenings

Early childhood screenings are free checks of a child's development. Families of children who are 3-5 years old can make an appointment with the ISD 199 Early Learning program's certified nurse, who will check the child's speech and language, motor skills, and general development. The assessment is required for enrollment at any school but allows Inver Grove Heights Schools to provide the most effective support to each child and family.

Kindergarten Readiness Camp
Kindergarten Readiness Camp, or K Camp, is a two-week summer class for incoming Hilltop, Pine Bend, and Salem Hills kindergarten students. The camp prepares students for a successful transition to school in the fall. Each four-hour class is filled with fun and learning to get students comfortable with all of the things they will do at school, including eating in the cafeteria and playing with their classmates.

Free Breakfast for All
Inver Grove Heights Schools understands the importance of starting the school day with the right fuel for learning. That is why ISD 199 Food Service provides a free, nutritious grab and go breakfast for every student to pick up on their way to class.

Spartan Kids' Care School-age Care Program
