Just in time to celebrate National Breakfast Week, March 2-6, free breakfast is coming to Inver Grove Heights Middle School and Simley High School! With a grant from the nonprofit hunger relief organization Second Harvest, Inver Grove Heights Schools has been able to expand its free breakfast program to all students. Starting Monday, March 2, IGHMS and Simley students will be able to pick up a free “grab and go” breakfast on their way to class each morning. Similar to the free breakfast available to all elementary school students, secondary school breakfasts will include items like fruit, yogurt, breakfast breads, and milk for a nutritious start to the day that will help fuel students through lunchtime.
