Election Day Voting

There are two polling places for Inver Grove Heights residents.

Absentee and Early Voting

Absentee voting can be done September 22 through November 6 at 5:00 PM at the following locations:

You may vote absentee for any reason between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays) and until 5 p.m. on Monday, November 6 at the ISD 199 District Office. Extended in-person voting hours are available Monday, October 16 and Tuesday, October 17 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 4 from 8 a.m. until noon.

Anyone interested in voting absentee must fill out an Absentee Voting Request Form. Click here to download a copy of the Absentee Ballot Application. Dakota County voters may also obtain an absentee ballot through ISD 199's District Office or by visiting the Dakota County Administration Center in Hastings or the Western Service Center in Apple Valley. For those wanting to vote by mail, the ballot request form must be returned before a ballot will be delivered.

Absentee Ballots will be available beginning Monday, September 22. Any requests for Absentee Ballots received before September 22 will be held until ballots are available. For more information, call the County Auditor's office or contact Tracy Lautt at ISD 199 651-306-7156.

Absentee voting cannot be done on Election Day and all voters must report to the combined polling place.
